Your first visit to Nice Bite will last 40 minutes. We will ask you what your treatment goals are and how you envision your dream smile. Then, Dr Sriram will review your orthodontic treatment options and provide a bespoke treatment plan for you.
Once you decide to go ahead with treatment, we will schedule an appointment for you to be fitted with your new appliance. The fitting of braces or aligners is painless, but you may experience some discomfort for a few days following as your mouth adjusts to the treatment.
Throughout your orthodontic treatment, we will need to see you every six to eight weeks for adjustment appointments. This enables us to monitor your treatment progress and, if necessary, tighten your braces or provide you with a new set of aligners.
Over time, these adjustments will gradually move your teeth into the proper alignment.
As soon as we’ve achieved your ideal smile, we will remove your braces or aligners and provide you with custom retainers. It is important to wear these retainers as instructed so that your teeth do not shift back to their pre-treatment positions.
